About The Position
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Requirements
- Current and valid Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) license in the state of Indiana
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff
Responsibilities
- Utilize clinical skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
- Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of residents
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care
- Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents
- Support a respectful and positive work environment
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions
