Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we're hiring a dedicated per diem SLP to work within a combination of Assisted Living Facilities, Outpatient, and home Care settings in and around the Ardsley area. Requirements
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
Responsibilities
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
