About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a dedicated and qualified full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a school-based position. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students in their educational environment, contributing significantly to their academic and social success. The position emphasizes meaningful work with a healthy work-life balance, featuring a predictable weekday schedule, summers off, and built-in holidays. PDS supports both new and experienced clinicians with professional development, career growth opportunities (including mentoring, leadership roles, and specialization in areas like bilingual services, AAC, or early childhood), ongoing CEUs, and a supportive internal team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Active state SLP license
- DOE Certified
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualized services based on student IEPs/504 plans
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and monitor progress in areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
