About The Position

Join the McCarton Foundation and help transform lives! We're seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in temporary, substitute, or interim engagements to provide services to children with autism aged 2-3 years old. This is a flexible opportunity for professionals who may be looking for short-term assignments, periodic work, or interim roles-ranging from a single day to multiple weeks, based on your availability and our program needs. We are open to engaging professionals as either W-2 employees or 1099 independent contractors, depending on the nature and duration of the assignment. The McCarton Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional treatment and services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our McCarton Integrated Model combines speech and language therapy, feeding therapy, fine and gross motor therapy, sensory integration therapy, socialization with peers, developmental play skills, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Requirements

  • New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certification
  • Experience with autism and early childhood preferred
  • Adaptable and comfortable entering new clinical environments

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Direct Care: Provide group treatment to children with autism aged 2-3.
  • Assessment and Planning: Review physician referrals and children's medical records, plan and perform treatment programs, and document goals and progress.
  • Collaboration: Work with related service providers to support each child's individualized plan.
  • Professional Growth: Work within a supportive clinical environment with access to experienced team members.
