About The Position

ISO is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, treat, and support students with speech, language, and communication needs. This position includes direct intervention, eligibility determination, IEP participation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and school staff.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communicative Disorders
  • Minimum 3 years of school-based SLP experience
  • Valid California SLP Services Credential or Clinical Credential (Audiology)
  • Valid CA Driver’s License + insurance for site travel
  • Must complete onboarding compliance training (post-offer)
  • Speech & language disorder assessment, treatment, and intervention
  • IEP/504 documentation, case management, and progress reporting
  • Child development, behavior support strategies, and communication systems
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong report writing, documentation accuracy, and scheduling management

Nice To Haves

  • ASHA CCC preferred , not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech/language assessments and determine eligibility
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Provide direct & consultative therapy across school sites
  • Monitor progress, document services, adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP & 504 meetings, SSTs, SELPA/District PD , and parent consults
  • Maintain compliance, records, reports, and confidential student files
  • Support staff through collaboration, training, and communication strategies
