Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Indiana license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current BLS/CPR certification issued by American Heart Association
  • 2 years experience with pediatrics with variety of communication, language and dysphagia disorders
  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal and written skills
  • Possess a Valid Driver’s license
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite
  • Clear background check
  • Clear abuse registry check

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with documentation on Central Reach preferred
  • Experience working with a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a clinical environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and report on speech and language assessments for pediatric clients and design intervention treatment plans in an early intervention setting
  • Conduct and report on individualized speech and language intervention focused on developmentally appropriate skills
  • Collaborate on speech and language intervention progress and goals with parents/guardians
  • Assist in regular coaching and support to direct care staff implementing treatment protocols throughout a client’s ABA day within a clinic setting
  • Write progress reports on individualized speech and language treatment plans (every 3-months) for each client and request authorization as directed
  • Complete re-evaluations yearly to document progress and continued eligibility
  • Provide home programming and parent training/coaching as applicable on a case-by-case basis
  • Provide oversight to cases, staff and family to make sure all company policies are followed, and that treatment is provided according to ethical and best standards of practice
  • Comply with organization, state and federal regulations set forth to include professional development, safety training, and confidentiality policies
  • Uphold a positive attitude and conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner at all times
  • Participate in weekly professional meetings and team meetings including companywide trainings as designated by supervisor and organization
