The Speech Pathologist I is expected to have involvement in the areas of continuing education, departmental and community activities, outreach education and role of preceptor to students. The Rehabilitation Services Department at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC, is accepting applications for an Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist part-time position. This position will offer therapy services within various acute care patient populations. The Speech/Lang Pathologist will work closely with a team of experienced peers as well as other members of the interprofessional team in a large volume, fast-paced acute care environment. Candidates must have excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Clinical experience in acute care is strongly preferred. The selected candidate will work a minimum of 1 weekend day per month and occasional weekday/holiday coverage.
