About The Position
Adelphi is seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologists to provide exceptional school-based services to students for a school district located in Johnston County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will support students through evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educational staff to meet Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.
Requirements
- Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must be eligible and verifiable through the NC licensing database
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
- Familiarity with IEP development and IDEA compliance
- Must maintain licensure through the NC Board of Examiners and provide proof of eligibility if requested

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language services aligned with student evaluations and IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and prepare written evaluation reports
- Develop and contribute to IEPs, including progress updates and performance goals
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver direct and consultative services per IEP requirements
- Complete all documentation and Medicaid billing in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Offer consultation and training to school staff
- Attend required meetings and professional development sessions
- Ensure active licensure and credential compliance
- Adhere to state and DPI guidelines for school-based speech-language services
