Within the scope of the district's adopted philosophy and goals and to the extent the district establishes and maintains support services and optimum conditions, the Speech Pathologist, under the direction of Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel and in cooperation with the Special Education Coordinator is responsible to provide a thorough assessment, diagnosis and evaluation of each child's speech, language and/or hearing disorder and to provide a therapeutic program to meet individual needs. In meeting these individual needs, coordination of services at all levels has been found to be extremely important.
