Requirements
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current SLP licensure, with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions, in the state of Georgia
Responsibilities
- The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment.
- The SLP evaluates, plans and administers speech therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative speech therapy as prescribed by a physician.
- Evaluates patient’s speech, language, cognitive/communicative status
- Plans and implements effective and appropriate treatment in order to achieve that functional outcomes
- Completes documentation meeting MedSide’s standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness
