The Speech Language Pathologist is able to evaluate and treat individuals with speech conditions in various settings, with a heavy pediatric focus. The role also assists with managing Speech Therapy patients in terms of scheduling, instruction, and home activities. The individual may be required to float throughout LMHS and perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Maintain Speech Language certification in the state of Ohio.
• Completed an accredited training program for Speech Pathology
• Maintain CPR certification (HCP)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat individuals with speech conditions in various settings.
• Assist with managing Speech Therapy patients in terms of scheduling, instruction, and home activities.
• May be required to float throughout LMHS and perform other duties as requested.
• Use proper equipment and services to allow patients to achieve their maximum potential to their daily routine following their impairment.
• Communicate with peers, and be supervised by managerial staff to allow for the highest level of care to the community.
