Requirements

  • Active Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license in Florida (or ability to obtain — relocation support available)
  • Experience in SNF, inpatient rehab, or outpatient physical therapy preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply — clinical mentoring provided!)
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care and growth
  • Valid State Speech License and Credentials

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients as a Speech Language Pathologist in an SNF inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Develop and implement individualized Speech Language Pathology treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehab team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility standards
  • Educate patients and families to maximize functional outcomes and independence
  • Develop and administer therapy programs aimed at improving patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and patient outcomes.
  • Continuously educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures and techniques
  • Stay up to date with the latest therapy techniques and methodologies.
