About The Position

At Westside, we believe therapy should be fun, collaborative, and life-changing. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll help children build the communication skills they need to thrive. You’ll have opportunities to grow and specialize in areas such as Feeding Therapy and AAC evaluations, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. What You’ll Do: Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18 Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year
  • SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois

Responsibilities
