About The Position

Position Summary: The incumbent is responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. The incumbent evaluates plans directs and treats all patients referred to speech/language according to the practice and standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association & California Board of Speech Pathology. The incumbent also provides pathology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provide effective efficient and quality care. Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor Manager and or Director. Applies DIGNITH HEALTH Core Values to the performance of every job duty. When called upon the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program. We possess the new Olympus Tower to perform FEEs May offer a sign-on Bonus and/or Relocation Allowance for qualified applicants

Requirements

  • Current California Speech/Language Pathologist license required
  • One year of experience as a speech therapist
  • Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation required
  • Knowledge of principles concepts diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy required
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite required
  • Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

Nice To Haves

  • One year of home care experience preferred
