Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes
- work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology
- provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
