JOB SUMMARY The Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of communication, cognitive/communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. He/she makes appropriate referrals inside the institution and to outside agencies as appropriate. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology

Requirements

• M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Wisconsin DRL Licensure/Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
• Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is a condition of employment. Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Health System’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program

Nice To Haves

• Two years clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at of hire.
