About The Position

Elite Staffing Network is looking for a Speech/ Language Pathologist (Per Diem/Weekends) with a location in Kingman, Arizona. Benefits ( On-Call, Per Diem, Part Time, Temporary Employees ): Paid Sick Time 403b Retirement Plan with Employer Contributions Scholarship Program for qualified individuals pursuing a first degree in healthcare related field On-site daycare exclusive to our employees children of all ages Employee Discounts and Employee Referral Bonus Program Key Responsibilities Conduct a Speech and Language Pathology evaluation or screen. · Selects and administers the appropriate diagnostic procedures to determine the extent of the patients impairment and the prognosis for improvement. · Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals. · Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions. · Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary · Document the course of patient care including progress made and the continuing need for treatment. · Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals. · Adheres to KHI Attendance Policy. · Communicates and demonstrates a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others. · Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, Arizona State Board of Speech and Language Pathology, and Medicare. · Assists with orientation of new staff as requested. · Meets KHI requirements for skills competency and safety. · Participate in continuing education/professional development activities. · Assists with the SLP students and Clinical Fellow program. · Participate in staff meetings, client relation and marketing activities. · Documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all KHI, Arizona State Board of Speech Language Pathology, and Medicare regulatory requirements. · Billing is completed by the end of each shift, accurate, meets reasonable and necessary requirements, and is justified in the documentation. · Individual productivity meets department standards. · Patient satisfaction will meet or exceed department standards.

Requirements

• Education : Graduate of a Masters Degree program, or foreign equivalent, in Speech & Language Pathology.
• Licensure : Current Arizona License for Speech & Language Pathology
• Certification: BLS and AED through the American Heart Association
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competency (or eligible)
• Experience: Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population
• The Incumbent shall have the ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment, have the ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate to provide therapeutic interventions.
