Our Mobility and Communication team is growing, and we're looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our mission-driven team! As an SLP at PROVAIL, you'll play a vital role in helping clients achieve communication that fosters greater inclusion and independence. You'll collaborate with a passionate team of therapists and staff to support individuals of all ages in building skills and reaching their personal goals using AAC-based interventions, particularly with communicators that require complex access and speech-generating devices. Our unique service model is based on best practices and client needs, regardless of clients' insurance carrier. PROVAIL's SLPs perform speech-generating device evaluations, extensive device and software trials, as well as programming and customizing of AAC and SGDs to ensure speech solutions are individualized and the best fit for each client's personal goals and needs. Our speech services also include training caregivers & family members on supporting the AAC user to communicate with various people and in different settings (not just with the therapist). Our speech therapists work in concert with our highly-skilled OT team to ensure clients with complex access needs are fully supported with individualized and often customized solutions. Additionally, all clinical staff have access to our extensive on-site AT lab and Adaptive Technology Lending Library. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week in-person position based at our North Seattle headquarters, with some telehealth services. About Us PROVAIL was founded in 1942 by parents of children with cerebral palsy. They created some of the first community services for individuals with cerebral palsy and other severe disabilities in the area. Our mission is to support people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices. We help people decide how they want to live their lives in the community and then provide the support services they need to act on those choices. We are one of the state's largest private, multi-service agencies dedicated to meeting the needs of children and adults with all types of disabilities.
