The Speech Language Pathologist will administer therapeutic treatment, utilize developmental activities, and modify treatment plans as necessary. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment goals and home activities, ensuring ongoing compliance and understanding. Administrative duties include scheduling, entering daily charges, and submitting timely documentation. Communication and collaboration with physicians, third-party payors, and relevant healthcare providers are essential. Additionally, the position involves conducting Speech Language Pathology educational programs for hospital staff, students, and the community, and supervising students from accredited programs, Clinical Fellows, and licensed speech aides.
