About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and treatment services for patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing, and related disorders. The clinician will work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, recognizing age-specific differences, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to restore function and prevent disability.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Licensed in Massachusetts
• Current CPR certification
• 1–2 years of experience with swallowing disorders preferred
• Adherence to ASHA Professional Code of Ethics

Responsibilities

• Administer diagnostic tests to evaluate the extent of impairment and prognosis (20%)
• Develop measurable treatment goals and individualized care plans with patient and family input (20%)
• Perform therapy and adapt techniques to meet patient needs; reevaluate and modify plans based on progress
• Document care, provide patient/family education, and communicate effectively with medical/allied health personnel
• Participate in quality improvement, program evaluation, and infection control initiatives (5%)
• Train new personnel and provide guidance to PTAs, aides, and students
• Engage in professional growth through educational programs, literature review, workshops, and in-service meetings
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned (10%)
• Consistently provide service excellence reflecting commitment to CARES: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service
