Requirements
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License
- CPR certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 100 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of rehab experience preferred
- Long Term Care experience preferred
- Vital-Stim certification preferred
- HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Support patients with stuttering, aphasia, dysphagia, and voice disorders
- Teach communication strategies and therapy exercises to patients and families
- Participate in care meetings (IEPs, team conferences, progress reviews)
- Document progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
