About The Position
Provides evaluation, treatment and ongoing assessment of adolescent through late adulthood patients with neurological, cognitive, swallowing, voice or other speech language related disorders.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Speech Language Pathology program.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in speech language pathology with similar types of patients.
- Competent in the evaluation, treatment and ongoing assessment of speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
- Speech language pathologist license through the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Speech Language Pathology & Audiology Board.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Adult and Pediatric.
- Computer
- Able to perform the essential physical duties as noted on the job description.
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient therapy setting preferred.
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from American Speech and Hearing Assoc. (ASHA) is preferred.
