Requirements
- Current Montana Speech/Language Pathology License (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Two (2) years of experience in speech-language pathology preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for patient care and continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered therapy in partnership with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, establish functional goals, and document progress in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement projects, and programs that enhance rehabilitation services across the continuum of care.
- Your skills ensure timely, effective therapy that keeps patient care on track, reduces hospital stays, and advances Logan Health’s mission to provide exceptional care.
