About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Osceola, United States. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state license/certification in speech-language pathology
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapy
  • Familiarity with a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Experience with various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patients
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements in healthcare settings
  • Willingness to provide therapy services at our outpatient clinic, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs
  • Passion for working with children and a patient, empathetic approach to treatment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals
  • Provide therapy services using evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Educate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers on home-based strategies and exercises
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and incorporate new techniques into practice
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinic's services
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families
