This is a Full-Time Position at 35-40 hours. CFY's are welcome! Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, hold a conditional license as a CFY by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, and have earned your CCC, Certificate of Clinical Competence, from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • familiar with the Ohio Education Code, Ohio Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools’ policies, rules, and regulations regarding programs and pupils
  • valid Ohio Driver’s License in good standing
  • hold valid CPR and First Aid training certificate
  • Must clear a current background check through the FBI and BCI
  • auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work-related travel (25/50k liability coverage)
  • ability to travel to more than one site on any given day
  • a current TB Test

Responsibilities

  • provide speech services that adhere to the goals and objectives found in each student's IEP or Plan of Care
  • administer all necessary evaluations and assessments with written reports and plan of care
  • keep accurate records and provide updates on progress and recommendations regarding IEPs
  • communicate ongoing student/client progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals
