About The Position
The Arc of Madison County is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support young children with developmental needs. This role focuses on improving early communication and foundational daily living skills in a supportive, community-based environment in home visitation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience in early childhood or pediatric settings preferred.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of speech and language development in children.
- Provide individualized early intervention therapy services.
- Support development of communication skills, including social language and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services.
