About The Position

All Star Physical Therapy in Temecula, CA is looking for a driven and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our close-knit, outpatient orthopedic team. In this role, we are looking for someone to work 10-30 hours per week performing mostly patient evaluations. Our ideal SLP evaluates and treats communication and swallowing disorders for patients in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence based therapy, documenting progress and interdisciplinary team members to support outcomes. Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited University.
  • ASHA Certification
  • Licensure from the California Board of Speech Language Pathology
  • Evidence of ongoing clinical education

Responsibilities

  • Conduct adult and pediatric evaluations according to patient disorder(s) to determine appropriate speech, language, cognitive, voice or swallowing diagnosis.
  • Develop functional care plans, long and short-term goals for each patient according to their respective disorders and deficits.
  • Provide treatment for both adult and pediatric populations according to their respective plan of care.
  • Supervise and co-sign for SLPAs
  • If qualified, supervise student interns
