About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Moncks Corner, SC. This role involves supporting students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning in a K-12 school setting. The position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, with a 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday schedule for full-time. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply, with strong mentorship provided. Requirements

• Valid South Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
