About The Position
Sheppard Pratt School in Rockville is a nonpublic special education day school serving students ages 5-21 (grades K-12) with a range of needs including autism, development delay, emotional disability, multiple disabilities, other health impairments, specific learning disability, and speech or language impairments. Requirements
- A master’s degree in speech pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Must have licensure by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Six months of related experience, which can include in an internship or practicum.
- Will accept a Clinical Fellow
Responsibilities
- Identifying, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, voice, fluency, hearing, and language disorders in our student population
- Providing individual and group therapy tailored to the developmental needs of students and complete quality documentation
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Developing and presenting speech-language programs for staff development and training

- The pay range for this position is $74,127.04 minimum to $118,346.18 maximum.
- Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
