About The Position

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is located in Wichita, KS, at Ascension Via Christi, St Francis, within the Speech Therapy Department. The role offers a day shift schedule. Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Create transformative outcomes by evaluating and treating patients with personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to their unique recovery goals.
  • Lead patient and family empowerment through dedicated education and counseling, ensuring they are confident and supported throughout the entire treatment journey.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical interventions using evidence-based techniques to restore function and improve the long-term quality of life for those in your care.
  • Document patient care journeys with precision to maintain accurate records that drive clinical excellence and continuous performance improvement.
  • Support seamless care transitions by developing comprehensive discharge plans and connecting patients with the vital community resources they need to thrive after therapy
