About The Position

Children are waiting for your help. You'll provide itinerant speech-language pathology services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (birth to age 5) across homes, daycares, preschools, and clinic settings. Your work will directly impact developmental outcomes for children with speech and language disabilities while supporting their families through a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • NYS license in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
  • Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)

Nice To Haves

  • CCC from ASHA desirable

Responsibilities

  • Provide itinerant speech-language pathology services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (birth to age 5) across homes, daycares, preschools, and clinic settings.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of clinical and educational specialists to create individualized treatment plans that meet each child's evolving needs.
  • Provide therapeutic services to children under age 5 across multiple settings in Wyoming, Livingston, Genesee, and Orleans counties, as well as through a New York State Early Intervention contract.
  • Build your schedule around your availability.
  • Receive ongoing supervision and support from experienced colleagues.
