About The Position

Trinity Health of New England is looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team in our Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation department at Mercy Medical Center. Speech Language Pathologist is member of a comprehensive care team who identifies appropriate long- and short-term goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals for pediatric patients. Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • State of Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology Licensure

Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive evaluations.
  • Establishes functional goals based upon evaluation results targeting deficit areas, to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
  • Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.
  • Completes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.
