Educates and counsels patients and families. Provides independent therapeutic services and identify area(s) of clinical specialization and competency. Supervises graduate students as assigned in clinical specialty area. Participates actively in identifying and conducting quality improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping adults regain communication, cognitive, and functional skills following neurological injury or illness. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (No weekends) Location: Vanderbilt University Medical Center – Outpatient Neuro Rehab Status: Full-Time About the Role As part of Vanderbilt’s interdisciplinary neurorehabilitation team, you will evaluate and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders related to a wide range of neurological conditions, including: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Stroke Parkinson’s Disease ALS, MS, Huntington’s Disease Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) Brain tumors and other complex neurologic diagnoses You’ll collaborate closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physiatrists, social workers, and other specialists to support community reintegration, vocational goals, and meaningful functional outcomes.
