Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Current state license and/or certification in speech-language pathology
Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong emphasis on interpersonal and people skills
Demonstrated competency in applying evidence-based principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapy
Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Proficiency with various standardized assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patients
Strong documentation, record-keeping, and organizational skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of accreditation standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
Willingness to provide flexible therapy services at our outpatient clinic to accommodate diverse patient needs and scheduling requirements
Demonstrated passion for working with children and a patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to treatment
Strong time management and caseload management abilities
Commitment to ongoing professional development, continuing education, and staying current with industry advancements
Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and inclusivity

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients using evidence-based diagnostic tools and techniques
Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs, abilities, and family circumstances
Provide high-quality therapy services using innovative, evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, educators, and specialists to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care
Educate and empower parents, guardians, and caregivers by providing clear guidance on home-based strategies, exercises, and techniques to support progress
Maintain accurate, detailed, and organized patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Stay current with the latest advancements, research, and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and integrate new techniques into clinical practice
Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinic services and outcomes
Ensure full compliance with all relevant accreditation standards, licensing requirements, and healthcare regulations
Foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment that supports the emotional and developmental needs of patients and their families
Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs and therapeutic priorities
