About The Position
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 12-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This role is primarily outpatient, with inpatient coverage required on scheduled weekends. The schedule is Monday thru 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must work one weekend every other month) COMPETITIVE PAY !! Compensation: Competitive pay
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
- Active New York State licensure
- Clinical Certification in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) or equivalent
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior outpatient experience preferred
- Ability to work inpatient setting on rotating weekend schedule
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance

Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Schedule patients based on clinical needs and treatment priorities
- Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in program development within the department
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain communication with referral sources and related agencies
- Participate in community outreach and education programs
