The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides prevention, assessment, consultation, and intervention services for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders that impact their educational performance. The SLP collaborates with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to design and implement evidence-based interventions that support students’ communication skills and participation in the bilingual educational environment. The SLP ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) policies.
