About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Jacksonville, NC, for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role involves providing speech and language services to K-12 students to directly impact their communication and learning. Requirements

• Valid North Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• North Carolina Education License from NCDPI (eligible once have State SLP License)
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
