About The Position

PT Northwest has an immediate opening for a motivated individual with an energetic personality to join our team as a Speech Pathologist in our Woodburn clinic location. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties, developing and implementing effective treatment programs, and providing counseling to patients and their families about the results of testing and recommended treatment options. The Speech Pathologist will establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment, maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits, collaborate and delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate, and maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.

Requirements

• Licensed SLP
• Strong, disciplined work ethic
• Dedication to quality patient care through the entire therapeutic process
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
• Demonstrated experience with evidence-based treatment modalities
• CPR and first aid certification are preferred

Responsibilities
