The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role includes conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and providing both direct therapy and consultative services. The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, district personnel, outside consultants, and families to support student progress, ensure appropriate interventions, and promote an inclusive educational environment. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the SLP will provide case management, supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), participate in school meetings, and plan, coordinate, and deliver staff training. The SLP is also expected to engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in the field. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Education and is primarily based in San Dimas, CA, with travel to additional school sites as needed.
