About The Position

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg, OH Full-Time or Part-Time | On-Site | Ohio License Required Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg is hiring a motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. In this role, youll work with residents recovering from illness, surgery, or complex medical conditions to help them regain independence, improve communication, and strengthen swallowing and cognitive abilitiesall in a supportive, resident-centered environment in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Requirements

Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
A compassionate, resident-focused approach to therapy

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
Create individualized treatment plans tailored to resident goals and recovery progress
Deliver therapy sessions to improve communication, cognition, and safe swallowing
Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress in the EHR system
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families for comprehensive care
Provide education to residents and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
Ensure therapy services comply with Ohio state regulations and Kingstons standards of excellence
