About The Position
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, averaging 35 hours per week with occasional weekend rotation. The SLP provides therapy services in a skilled nursing facility, helping residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities. The role focuses on restoring independence and improving quality of life through individualized therapy plans.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Completed a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Accurate EMR documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care environments
