About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in patients across a healthcare setting. The SLP will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve patient function and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work assigned schedule, including weekends as required

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and physicians
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and facility standards
  • Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
