About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Speech-Language-Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity. Need: Part-time Location: Split between Sunrise of Dublin in Dublin, OH, and The Polaris Community in Polaris, OH. Setting: Long-term care Rate Range: $36.66-$45/hr (based on years of experience) Perks: Both communities are located in the north Columbus suburbs, offering access to a large and growing senior population with consistent therapy needs. Dublin, Ohio, is known for its strong healthcare presence, safe neighborhoods, and well-developed senior services network. The Polaris area near Polaris Fashion Place is a major hub with easy highway access, making travel between buildings efficient. Close proximity to Columbus, Ohio, provides access to hospitals, specialists, and referral networks that support rehab outcomes. Requirements

Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
