About The Position

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. The SLP collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to restore function, improve communication and swallowing, and prevent disability.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state SLP license
  • Current CPR certification
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (swallowing experience a plus)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (swallowing experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and provide individualized treatment for speech and swallowing disorders
  • Establish measurable treatment goals and modify plans based on patient progress
  • Deliver patient- and family-centered care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and care teams
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection control activities
  • Assist with staff training and student supervision as needed
