Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Home Health Location: Ross County Part-Time Opportunities Available Paid per visit – rates starting at $75 per visit! You’ll work closely with patients and their families to promote independence and enhance communication skills in a home environment.
Requirements
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in OH
- Current TB test (within the last 12 months) and CPR cert ification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to attend a 1-2 day orientation at our Dublin office
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide effective patient care using approved therapy techniques and procedures
- Evaluate patients’ functional levels, treatment needs, and progress toward goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders
- Supervise Speech Therapy Assistants (STAs) and coordinate patient care
- Document treatments, progress notes, and care plan updates accurately and on time
- Assist patients and families in developing and reviewing home programs
- Recommend adaptive equipment and evaluate home settings when needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Complete discharge summaries and obtain necessary orders at case completion
