About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient therapy team in Tulsa, OK. Our team offers specialized treatment for Parkinson's disease, which can be helpful at all stages. We have a combined 25-year history of providing therapeutic intervention aimed at minimizing disability. We partner with our patients to create a customized plan for symptom management and goal-setting. We offer speech therapy services which include the SPEAK OUT! Parkinson's program, tongue thrust for pediatrics and adults, inclusions, head/neck cancer rehabilitation and swallowing difficulties. Must have CCCs for this position! Experience in outpatient pediatrics is required. Requirements

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State SLP licensure required
  • ASHA certification is required
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
  • Experience in outpatient pediatrics is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
  • Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
  • Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and provide ongoing evaluation of their status and goals.
