Join our dedicated rehabilitation team at Harris Regional, an 86-bed facility offering a full range of services including general surgery, women’s care, intensive care, and emergency services. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional respiratory care, continuously seeking ways to enhance the patient and family experience. We work closely with all providers and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient we serve. An Acute Care and/or Outpatient Rehab Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role: Plays an important part in helping our patient to recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records. Document patient care in accordance with Lifepoint, regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.  Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. Make presentations to support marketing efforts, at team conferences and in-services. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws. Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of a Master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology and possess an NC License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
