About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Bennington, VT. This role supports elementary students (Kindergarten through 5th grade), helping them build the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially. We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about pediatric and school-based speech therapy. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
  • Active Vermont SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or elementary education settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to K–5 students
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
  • Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
  • Support students with: Articulation and phonology
  • Receptive and expressive language development
  • Social/pragmatic communication skills
  • Fluency and voice disorders
  • Use age-appropriate, engaging therapy strategies for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
