About The Position
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, averaging 30 hours per week with occasional weekend rotation. The SLP provides speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services for residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). The role focuses on helping patients recovering from illness or injury regain communication abilities and safe swallowing function while improving overall quality of life.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Completed a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Nice To Haves
- Certification through ASHA (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is highly preferred
