About The Position
LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a Long-Term Care setting.
Requirements
- Current state SLP license (Master's degree with CCC required)
- strong knowledge of Medicare documentation
- excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- LTC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- review medical charts
- evaluate speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
- develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- modify programs based on patient progress
- provide therapy for communication, cognitive, and swallowing deficits
- complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- support patient satisfaction and quality outcomes
- comply with productivity and regulatory standards
